Mobile Rosen Inn or Rosen Plaza?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to book a budget 1 week trip for April with BA and I'm torn between the Rosen Plaza and the Rosen Inn International. There is only about £15pp difference in price.

I know the Rosen Plaza is the better hotel but we're only wanting to do Universal and things on International Drive this trip. We won't be hiring a car and so can't decide which hotel is in the better location.

Any opinions?

Thanks

Can't speak for the Rosen Inn as I've never stayed there but I have stayed at the Rosen Plaza.
It's a lively hotel and if it's only £15 pp that's where I'd be staying.
We're staying next week for 6 nights, The Pointe is only a few minutes away with a variety of restaurants and a few shops.
There's a CVS next door where you can pick up drinks and snacks.
An Uber to Universal I think would be around 7 dollars

You could also buy Iride passes or Lynx passes to get up and down I drive

Plaza ,for the location.Although I have never stayed at the Rosens ,I stayed at the international when it was the old Quality Inn. It's very busy up that end , way busier than down by the pointe and it can be quite noisy too.I think the petrol station has now gone ( not sure though)so may be quieter now.But the Pointe end has better places to walk to ,to eat etc.

Stayed at all the Rosens on I Drive - Plaza is a better hotel than Inn / Pointe / International and on a par with Centre.

In terms of location everyone seems to prefer the South end but a lot of places at Pointe have closed (Johnny Rockets / Copper Canyon / Tommy Bahamas) and i think the area around the Orlando Eye / Icon has better restaurants.

Plaza is the much better hotel though - i would stay there.

Great choice.

We have stayed at the Plaza a few times before moving to Disney and will be staying there for a week again next year. Fabulous hotel and great location, easy to walk to the Olive Garden, Walgreens and Pointe Orlando is across the road.
