If you haven’t been here in that long, how do you know it’s so bad?!

I love those houses around Prittlewell Square Garden too. We like to walk our dogs along the seafront then back through the cliff gardens every so often and I always admire that lovely square. Look forward to being able to do that walk again.

Was it busy down there today? I'd love to see the sea.

It’s been busier the last week but not as busy as usual. They are reopening most of the car parks and widening the promenade on Saturday.

I think that if you live on Canvey Island you have to be a little circumspect when criticising anywhere else.

The whole seafront from Shoeburyness to Chalkwell is the best it's ever been and provides lots of pleasant walking.

We go to two tree island (no idea if that’s spelt right!). Go down the side of Leigh on sea station and follow the road to the end. You can sit in car and look straight out to sea, Southend in the distance, the pier etc.
We took a picnic down there and ate it in the car, was lovely and not many people around.

Thank you. I don't know that end so well -apart from the Peterboat of course.

Does anyone know if there’s any parking open near Old Leigh at the moment? I normally park on Belton Way, I think, but someone told me you couldn’t park there a couple of weeks ago

If there is, wow is it going to be busy. Would love to go to the Cocklesheds right now. When we got taken to Leigh as my mum loved Seafood, my dad always liked the Peterboat, think its because they played Jazz. xx
