Man airport - Rad blu vs Clayton

Just booked Raddison Blu for end of July. Works out at £103 per room after Quidco discount. Don’t pay until a couple of days before. Cheaper than this years stay would’ve been. 👍🏼

We have only stayed at the Raddison , I can justify the cost if it’s just DH and me and it’s super easy as we use the meet and greet parking at the airport too. Love that on travel day you can get to the terminals quick easy and dry if it’s raining!
If we had extras in toe i.e kids even though their adults it’d probably be the premier inn , they are a great price for what you need in a pre travel hotel.

I’ve stayed at both but I would go for the Radisson if the price is right.

Me and DH love staying there - it kick starts the holiday and the extra time in bed in a morning is fabulous! It took us 5 minutes to walk to the Terminal last year. Can’t get better than that! I also really like the pool, sauna and steam room - it is a bit tired but it’s still an hour or so of relaxation time

We stayed at the Blu both times we flew from Manchester and found it invaluable for a number of reasons, some sensible some more personal.

The location allows for a later sleep in (we had 10am flights - being in clearly signposted walking distance was imperative) and the rooms were lovely. We did not pay for a runway view however.

The ability to walk to the terminal in a few minutes was, for us at least, well worth the extra cost. We like a nice smooth holiday, and when you have so much to plan and concern yourself with it was nice to scratch off as many possible concerns as early as possible. No worrying about hotel quality or transport to the airport on the day, just roll out of bed and into the airport.
