Non Disney cruise tips with Teens next summer

The only cruise experience i currently have is disney but know thats not an option for a med cruise next summer ( needs to be end of july/early August due to school holidays & exam results)
Looking for recomendations for cruise lines of a similar standard (not read particuarly good reviews on MSC ?)
Idealy starting and finishing in the same port to keep any flight costs down a bit also most i have looked at seem to charge the full adult cost for over 12's we would have a 16 and 13 year old sharing with us and woudered if any do a 3/4 person/child sharing price
plus any other good tips and recomendations greatfully accepted

Cococay is in the Bahamas not the Med.
Barcelona and Venice are good starting points for cruises - lots of flight options and easy/cheap to get to the port. Rome is far more difficult/expensive to get to the port (Civitavecchia).
Have a look at a website like vacationstogo for an overview of what itineraries are available for your particular dates.
Yorkshire T (and others) has recently done a Royal Caribbean cruise and may be able to offer specific advice.

NCL are currently doing 3rd/4th passenger sail free on a lot of cruises, including school holidays, just pay taxes around 100.
I know the Epic is sailing out of Barcelona around the Med, not sure if they have any other ships in the Med.
We have just booked NCL Escape, ship looks amazing, with lots of water slides, minigolf, tenpin bowling and even a high rope course with zip line.
It's not the Med though, it's the Baltic from Copenhagen, but to give you an idea, 2 adults and 2 teens in an inside cabin would be around 2,300.

We did med from Barcelona this summer with RCL on Oasis, with a 17 year old and a 13 year old, we all absolutely loved it, though we did have 2 interconnecting cabins - and really valued the space 😁

If you go from Barcelona you could add on a couple of days there.

Dont worry about port transfers - just order a taxi - under 1/2 the price.

(We sailed with Celebrity from Barcelona and got 4 taxi journeys (airport/hotel/cruise/hotel/airport) for 1/3 of the price Celebrity wanted!

Hi
Weve done med cruises twice with Royal Caribbean and would recommend. We sailed both times from Southampton. It was really easy and nice not to have the hassle of airports and flying. However from Southampton to the med are 14 night cruises. Royal Caribbean do shorter med cruises but are fly and cruise. We did Independence of the seas and navigator of the seas. Both biggish ships. Plenty to do for teenagers- rock climbing walls, flowrider surfing, teens clubs (cant recommend as ours didnt go) games arcade. We had separate cabins to our kids but next to each other. They do connecting cabins but also have 4 berth cabins. Hope thats helpful 😃
