Home hair cut

Has anyone else bit the bullet and cut their own hair. I did yesterday and though it’s shorter than I would like, it’s turned out ok.

Yeah, as soon as lock down was announced I grabbed some cordless Wahl clippers on offer at Asda.

It had been 11 weeks since I’d had it cut and it was really getting on my nerves.

That haircut looks fine to me, I wouldn’t have known it wasn’t done by a professional

We got some of the Wahl clippers. When I last did DH hair he was pleased with it till DD asked why he had a ridge cut in the back of his head

I have cut DHs hair several times since lockdown started and he cut mine last week. I’m sure a hairdresser would be horrified with mine but it was getting too long and I couldn’t stand it!

DS14 is cutting his regularly with the clippers and I think he’s done an ok job.

Hehehe, my son, 20, started off by starting off disinfecting the actual Wahl DOG clippers in desperation!
and has since bought his own and is now dab hand at doing his own (low down shaved fading up to longer on top style) whatever that is called!
Going to save himself a lot of money at the barbers going forward now he can do it himself!
Already got a couple of friends waiting to have a tutorial after lockdown!

I picked up some John Lewis own brand clippers. Not the most powerful and after it all calms down I'll probably get something better. But they do a job and I've taken to trimming my hair every couple of weeks. I think it looks okay and, at my age, relatively neat and tidy will do. Can't see me going back to the barbers.
First time was terrifying though!
