Crazy prices for 2021!

OH likes a dodge mini van (there are 6 of us so need a big car!), I've never paid more than £580 for car hire 2wks, regardless of the time of year.

Have i just always been super lucky? When I look for May 21, the prices are anywhere from £700-900

They have to sterilise the cars after each rental but the increases are very high indeed for 2021.

Based on 25th May for 2 weeks, I've got a price of £519 through my offline system with Budget (1 driver and spouse)

£527 with Hertz (1 driver) or £545 with 2 drivers.
