Magic bands with ultimate tickets

I’m reading conflicting information on this, does anyone know if you get magic bands with the 14 day Disney tickets if staying offsite?

No, you only get magic bands included if you are staying on site.

Not usually, no. Onsite guests get them but offsite guests don't.

However, Disney did have an offer a while ago where you got free Toy Story Magicbands if you bought Ultimate tickets from them. This offer was available to offsite guests.

Your old MagicBands should still be linked? You may need to reactivate them in MDE though.

The fact that you don't get them doesn't mean you can't have them !

Previously, on our first day we used the cards to get into MK and then, later in the days went into on of the shops and bought magic bands for everyone.
The helpful people in the shop even linked them up to our tickets and everything - it was easy.

Yeah, good point.

Offsite guests don’t get Magicbands for free with the 14-day tickets (well, unless they buy them when there’s a special offer on). But they can buy Magicbands, link them to their account, and then use them. The price starts from $15 for the solid coloured ones.

Onsite guests get them for free.
