Mobile Disney 14 day tickets upgrading

Hi all

This is possibly the most stupid post ever but Ill ask anyway!

We are travelling at Xmas and have 14 day UK tickets to Disney.

We are also now going in August 2020 but not doing Disney due to the cost and instead going to upgrade our Universal to annual
Passes.

Anyway I was wondering if its at all possible to convert our 14 day tickets (on day 13 for example) to annual water park tickets to still get a Disney vibe...

We dont have our tickets in hand yet so cant check on MDE.

Im suspecting its no but thought Id ask.

Thanks :->

Yes you can, visit guest relations in the park. With the UK tickets you dont really upgrade, they sell you new annual passes and credit your UK value against them.
Some people have said they calculate the value of the UK tickets by converting to dollars, some people say they use the equivalent US ticket value, but they have a maximum of 10 day tickets.

I know people have converted to annual passes, but never heard of people converting to annual water park passes. Not sure how they'd do that as the value of an annual water park pass is less than the cost of a 14 day ultimate ticket.

I don't think you'd be able to upgrade to the annual waterpark passes, especially not if you will have used the 14-day ticket to enter a main park. You can usually only upgrade to a ticket/pass that costs more, not less.

Or did you mean the Platinum Pass pass that includes access to the main parks and water parks?

from what I read, OP says "to still get a Disney vibe", and that they won't be doing disney, so I get it that they want to convert their 14 days ticket to a Water Parks only Annual pass

The answer there is no.
Tickets can only be upgraded to the annual pass with similar types of entries

14 days ultimate ticket to Platinum+ (incl. water parks) or maybe platinum only if no water park or golf was used (but that's not guaranteed)

I guess a day entry to a waterpark could be upgraded into a waterpark AP

but as long as you've used the main parks, you need to upgrade to an AP that includes the main park

Of course, what OP seems to be describing would be very interesting if possible
Do all 4 parks for 13 days, then upgrade to a waterpark AP which is basically cheaper than the UK ticket, meaning a water park AP for free

but, no, I'm afraid that's not how it's done, sorry
