So sorry to hear of all affected by this.

BA used to have a thing on flight page where you could reserve a flight for a £10 deposit for 24 hours, might help someone reserve flights, just in case for tommorrow.

ive seen an image doing the rounds on twitter of a thomas cook tweet that they apparently deleted shortly after. can’t comment as to the authenticity as i didn’t see thomas cook tweet it myself.

In the early two thousands when online booking was a new concept I got a quote for a holiday online. I then went to my local TC and went through the same holiday with an agent. She gave me a much higher quote and I told her of the online price I got...

"Thomas Cook can't compete with online prices if you've seen it cheaper online I suggest you book that"

Was the response I got...

I have no sympathy at all for TC however I have a deep sympathy for front line staff and people who have booked flights/holidays.

I don’t think ITV news would have reported it live on TV unless they were sure it was true though as couldn’t they be held libel if what they reported isn’t true?
