I have to check my dignity in at the entrance to the waterparks... I have yet to find a graceful way to get onto or into one of these things. I always nearly choke laughing at myself (and others)... it's just so funny.

I managed to scrape both my legs trying to scramble out anf get to my DD who had drifted too far down. It was not a good look to be covered in bruises for the rest of the holiday!

i used to hate that part too! I'll just avoid the lazy river entirely, and when you've just managed to get a float and on process of getting on said float, people on the steps don't give you space as they are too busy fighting to get one

this should be renamed the danger zone river! A word of advice, don't trying sitting your butt in those rings near the wall/rails. I did this (holding my hands on the ring pushing myself in the thing) and ended up flipping back and cracking my head against the wall/rails. My mother did the same and almost lost her glasses and though she was drowning (she couldn't swim!) It's a very scary attraction.

After some disasterous attempts I gave up and use the pop throught the middle method. Although I have found that if I get a double one and pop through one end I can then put my feet up underneath in the other hole if that makes sense. One of my kids usually then climbs up and sits in the top of the other hole. Quite comfy that way!

I'm so glad it's not just me that struggles. When you have 2 kids to sort out as well it's so stressful, I thought a water park was supposed to be a chill out day!

They couldn't look at each other for the rest of the day, but the rest of us found it hilarious!
This is the funniest post I have ever read. I am crying with laughter and have to go and sort my make up out now

Oh my gosh glad its not just me!
What usually happens on my first few tries is that i'm so excited and trying to concentrate about getting in one I flip rite off the other side. Then I just go through the middle hold on to the handles and use it as a back /neck support while floating around.
My other half takes a double one and he uses it as a lilo.
