Good times!

Mickeyetta.
What I find more disturbing is that I get taken back there every time your phone rings! Can't wait till September to live it all over again

Just checked -- it was 1645!, but just the same.
Next door then - so sad to leave I had to take a picture of the door number just to make sure I'd not forget. Each morning we had ducks outside the door which made having a breakfast in the room interesting. At night if you sat outside you could see small snakes and frogs chasing the snakes again just outside the room. Strangely this seemed normal and the kids loved the extra wildlife. Having the shop just around the corner was great and they had beds to die for.

On more than one occasion our girls would clean out the shop of Disney cup cakes which were brilliant. We had a steady supply in the room fridge and our mousekeeping did wonders with the towels every time we came back in the room.

I could go on and on - been fortunate to stop in some very classy hotels over the years but I'd pass on them all for a stay back in the Beach club in these ground rooms.

it's been said before... sitting at the front of the ferry, watching Cinderella's castle getting closer and closer

Or

Watching the world go by next to the lake at DTD with a bag of Ghirardelli choc/caramel squares and a big old pile of carrier bags containing my purchases from the world of Disney at my feet!

Mine is exactly the same. We always do "Ferry over - Monorail back".
But sitting on a bench on the ferry looking at the hotels and the lake... and then the Castle comes into view. Breath-taking every time.

With you on that one, even the trailer for the 3D version of the Lion King brought a tear to my eye when we went to watch Cars 2 at the cinema this weekend!
