Fastpass query

Hello . Another silly question from me . With Fastpass - does everyone have to be present to collect a fastpass, or can 1 person take everyone's tickets and get them for them?

TIA

Charlotte

Anyone can take any amount of park tickets to the fastpass stations and get 1 fastpass per park ticket. Also once the fastpass time to return has passed, you can get another fastpass even if you haven't used the first one. You can use the fastpass anytime ( we have used them after the 2 hour return time has passed) This means that you don't have to go back to the other side of the park if you moved on to other rides or are queuing.
On past visits we have decide to leave the park before the fastpass time So on leaving, have given them to someone just arriving.our good turn for the day! They usually are very surprised!

This is no longer the case - they are now enforcing the return times on fastpasses.

Probably stating the obvious but all the people need to be in the park for the tickets to be 'active' to get the fast passes.

One year, my husband took all of our tickets in to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania for later on in the day (we waited in the car as we were going somewhere else first) - but he could only get one fastpass!

Nope you can send one person off to get them all as long as they have all the park tickets to put in the machine

Lol - we did the opposite, I waited patiently in the bag search queue whilst James went straight through to get fastpasses for TSM - then realised he didn't have my park pass!

Just got back from our first trip, turned up two minutes early for FP on test track at Epcot and they wouldn't let us on until the exact time! Also overran slightly at HS for TOT as TSM queue took 80 mins and not the 50 mins showed. Had to convince the CM to let us use the FP tickets and had only overran by 10 mins.

Many's the time I've been stuck behind a South American tour group leader feeding hundreds of tickets into the fast pass machines
