I feel it's only fair to add that one major problem we found with AKL was the long, echoing hallways. Every hotel we've ever stayed at in Orlando has had external walkways but AKL has the central hallways. We only stayed one night, as I said, but the volume of families returning from days at the parks or even the pools was incredible. Small children just love to run down the corridors and, while you can't hear the footfall due to the thick padded carpets, it is very echoy and irritating hearing small children yelling like that when you just want silence.

All the disney deluxe have the internal corridors because they are the ones that have the balconies

I loved both, we only did AK for 2 nights but it was terrific.

Although I did love CBR, that was actually my favourite, although it helped as I'm Pirate mad and we had those rooms.

im staying at CBR for the second time in Jan, i've never stayed at AKL but it looks amazing.

I'd say AKL if you can afford it (its a deluxe) but if you wont be spending too much time in the rooms or resort then CBR as its still lovely and cheaper too!

Hi
Stayed at both, AKL wins hands down. Theming and atmosphere was fabulous and sitting on balcony watching animals was amazing. If pennies permit , go for it!

Charming! I didn't ask whether you approved of whether I like to hear other people's kids running up and down and screaming. I just pointed it out as something which happens and you may not like it.

... and at the arm and a leg it costs to stay there, perhaps I'm entitled to my bit of Disney magic too ...
