Pause Gourmande - info please

This has been in operation since the beginning of April

What are people able to 'buy' with their pause gourmande allowance? Where is the best value?
Where to avoid?

Thanks

We're there next month & will have these vouchers. From what I've read this is my understanding.

They can only be used within counter service places, the outdoor stands don't accept them.

You can have a hot drink, a fizzy (mcdonalds cup type) cold drink or a bottle of water/fruit juice.

They don't seem to be flexible with the options regardless of whether what you actually want is cheaper.

Snacks offered are things like a muffin, a cookie, a brioche, a doughnut or a small magnum. Each place varies & has the pause gourmande options showing.

Caseys corner is proving a popular choice. Especially as it's open late.

The vouchers are valid from 3pm but there doesn't seem to be an use by time unlike the free drinks vouchers that need using between 3pm & 5pm.

you can use them in conjunction with the free hot/cold drinks vouchers too .

A lovely guest gave me 2 pause gourmande vouchers last week as she wasn't going to use them. I had 2 free drinks vouchers from purchases earlier in the day, so I used all 4 vouchers at Videopolis at just after 6pm, to get 4 drinks, and a brownie and a double Mickey cake (ie 2 sponge cakes, one chocolate, one almond flavour) which were the 2 pause gourmand options at Videopolis. It was just perfect for the 4 of us for a snack break.

The free hot or cold drinks vouchers can be used between 3pm and 6.30pm.

We just got back and had the pause gourmande vouchers. As said you have to go to a counter service to use them, but be warned that the queues were very long at 3pm and the service very slow. We had mostly soft drinks or bottled water, with mickey cakes (2x little sponge cakes) although I think my brother had a little ice cream one day and a muffin.

On the third day, we decided to use all our remaining vouchers in one go to save wasting time in queues on other days. We stocked up on bottled water and mickey cakes and then just took what we wanted from our stash into the park with us on the rest of our park days.

I went last week. We used ours mainly in the Cable Car Bake Shop, Market St Deli and the Blockbuster cafe in the Studios. CCBS & MSD both allowed a brioche or a muffin with a cold bottle or hot drink. No other cake/cookie bits were allowed. We tried BC the following day and muffins were not allowed but a chocolate cake in pink wrapper (no other option)and a cold bottle. Doesn't seem to be the same across the different counter services. They could really do with putting up little signs just so you don't waste your time queueing up if its not what you fancy. Best time to go in Disneyland Park to the ones on Main Street is during the parade, absolutely empty each day, even as the parade was passing!

We were there last week and loved the pause gourmande. We used Caseys Corner which was pretty good. The options are really clearly stated on the menu board so that was helpful, it was hot or cold drink so we went for coke which was a good size, much larger than I expected, and very welcome in the heat. The cake options there were donut or brownie. We both went for the brownie which was very tasty and also cellophane wrapped so easy to save for later.

The voucher said available from 3pm, Caseys didn't open until 4pm but this was fine for us and we found the queues to be shorter than other places by then too.

Hope that helps a bit.
