They should really honour the original booking.

Also… just watch some of the drinks purchases. At todays lunch (Walt’s) if you wanted a coke based drink, it was 330ml for €5. If you want Fanta or sprite, it’s €5 but for only 250ml. That’s smaller than a can!

It’s all about the upsell and kind of rough that they’ve removed it and I would urge people to put their complaint in writing Disney can change their mind

It has been like this in a lot of the restaurants and bars for a while. Colas always bigger.

So I’ve contacted DLP about this and have been gaslit by three separate employees who told me this was clear when I booked in October (it was not) and that it is valid for all stays from March 2024 onwards. Unfortunately I didn’t take time stamped proof at the time of booking (I wish I had now) so I guess there’s nothing anyone can do but it’s incredibly frustrating

Have you been before and bought a meal plan? I would argue that this wasn’t made explicitly clear and most people would reasonably assume the plan remains the same and that a meal includes a drink.

Alternatively you can just have water or use a buffet where it appears still included (for now).

I’m finding Disney’s aggressive pricing very odd as they must know this will irritate people and lose customer goodwill.

Tbh it feels futile arguing with them from their responses today. We really wanted to visit the table service restaurants so I think we’ll have to lump it but it is frustrating when it’s so expensive already! Doesn’t really make me want to rush back.

This definitely doesn’t sound right. I asked on here about included drinks when I booked in September 2023 (for August 2024) and someone found the FAQs showing that a drink was definitely being advertised as included at the time of my booking. Are they trying to say that the website had already been changed at that point? When we can see from this post that it hadn’t?

Just checked and I’ve got a screen shot of the website with a date stamp, if any use?
