My colleague recommended Jules Verne to me, she’s used them several times. I’m going on a trip with Newmarket Holidays shortly. It’s definitely a touristy type trip rather than a die hard safari but hoping it will be good. Dad and I couldn’t justify the huge cost of some of the other trips we fancy given that my Mum and my husband aren’t going with us.

That's why my Mum won't go, she's not prepared to even consider it. I get bitten a bit, so I will let you know how I get on. Boots have got the extra strong insect repellant on 3 for 2 - gonna buy 3 and take them all

This is the trip we're doing - newmarketholidays/...ay-at-treetops.

Audely are usually good options for most countries. Not cheapest, but you can say must do and a budget and they do try to keep to that. They tend to advise better than some too as tailor made.

We have done Peru and Borneo with them.

We used Somak - not sure if they still operate .for our Honeymoon to Kenya Visited Tsavo and stayed overnight at Salt Lick Lodge
Make sure you take Maleria tablets .
Kenya is a stunningly beautiful country and the people we met were lovely .

We did a riding holiday with In the Saddle.

It was trip of a lifetime to South Africa. The animals let you get really close on horseback as they don't see you as a threat. No lions or elephant, but we went to another reserve to see them.

You don't have to be able to ride either, they split the grouops by riding ability.
