Best route from San Francisco to Yosemite View Lodge

Please can you give me some recommendations for the best route as per title. We will be leaving from Bryant Street SF and would like to stop about 2 hours into the journey for lunch, petrol and snacks. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Hi we went via Modesto and Merced mariposa . Plenty of places to stop on route.

We went via Groveland. You get to drive the Priest road too. The New one is much windier and longer.
