Days Out

Can anyone recommend a few days out away from the world?

We are a family of 4 with 2 girls aged 6 & 4. We are thinking about something to still keep us busy but hopefully re-charge the batteries a bit

Thanks
Adam

We drove to Tarpon Springs for the day and it was great like a greek/mediterranean fishing village - made for a complete change of pace. St Augustine is great too.

Thanks Jennywren

Tarpon Springs sounds lovely. Do you think Clear Water beach in the morning and Tarpon Springs in the afternoon sounds feasible?

Yes sounds like a plan Clearwater Beach to Tarpon Springs is about 16 miles takes about 57 minutes according to Google Maps (we just checked for you), we haven't driven that ourselves we went straight to Tarpon. Tarpon was famous for its sponge divers, although not much diving done these days, but there are harbour boat trips, lots of gift shops and restaurants etc we loved it.
