Polynesian fireworks

Hi, we haven’t been to Disney for 10 years and I am aware of so many changes but one of my favourite things to do was grab a dole whip from the Polynesian and watch the fireworks from the beach, is this still possible? We are staying off site, and I can’t get a reservation for O’hanas (yet!) so how do we get access to the hotel or do we not? Will security let us in without a reservation? Thank you.

I am sure someone will be on to verify but I was under the impression you can't do this anymore as a non guest? Fingers crossed for you I am incorrect!

We did it a few months ago.
Could not park the car so went on the bus from Disney springs.
Had a drink in trader Sams and watched the fireworks.

No one asked us for ID.

I was under the impression that you had to be a guest at poly to go on the beach now too.

We did it Friday just gone, spent a few hours in Magic Kingdom and got the monorail over, then it was a short walk over to TTC

The Poly beach used to be our favourite, especially with piped music. Traversing on the boat top deck was good also, if timing is right.

We did this last week, had dinner at Ohanas and then watched the water pageant followed by the fireworks from the beach. Excellent view and music piped in. Get there early if possible as queues for a sole whip were huge and the beach soon fills up too!
