Hi,

The Washington Monument gets booked up pretty quickly if it's on your list

Isn’t the Monument currently closed? Think they are renovating the elevator.

The Washington Monument web page states that it opens on Monday 12th May although the 12th May is a Sunday so you're right no clear date

We were there last year.
I loved the tour of the US Capitol building - one of my highlights.
The White House tour in my opinion was not so good. But I still enjoyed it.
I wish I had known there was a Pentagon tour - we did go out to the Pentagon to visit the 9/11 memorial.
The Washington monument elevator was still closed in Sept 2018. The Smithsonian Mall and the Area from the Lincoln Memorial to the US Capitol building was amazing.

Really liked Washington, Metro was great, we still had loads to see - but going back this year.

If you want to visit the Museum of the African American (recommended) you may need to apply for a timed ticket.
