I need computer help pleaseeeee

I am ready to throw things at the telly.

I am an avid Mac user for the past 15 years. I said I would do something for work - unpaid and I have spent the whole holidays angry.

We had digital signage and the guy who did it left. He took it down as it was all his work.

I have managed to (and this is a massive deal) create a power point slide show and re-do the customers adverts using design on GIMP. I've managed to make a slideshow and I can convert this to MP4 or MOV or whatever it needs as the work unit is a DELL. (our powerpoint license won't load onto it) I also have a USB dongle they can have. So I have the movie on the USB and on the dell and I can play it and even loop it, but this involves me stealing my OH work keyboard and mouse. The guys at work simply won't be able to do this on my day off.
It used to just load and play automatically when switched on. (through a telly)

He had installed an app called something like signage player, but I couldn't delete the loop he had, so I had to delete that app. He was able to edit things on it and update it without ever taking the computer home which I would love.

So, is there a free way I can play mov or mp4 on a loop that auto loads?

We have free open wifi at work.

I know you can buy things, but that fact it was free before leads me to believe I can do it for free and it's frustrating me!

Thanks if anyone has any ideas.

Ideally would love to edit it remotely or via the dongle as it's such a pain unhooking this box from the telly.
