Mobile Ordering-talk me through it please

Hi, I'm looking for some opinions on mobile ordering via the MDE app.

Is it available from many restaurants?
Do you see the full menu on the app?
Does it save much time?
How does it work with the Dining plan?

Any other reviews, tips, opinions welcome please thank you

Mobile

Is it available from many restaurants?

Yes... Its available in most quick service locations and some of the fixed snack areas (like Aloha Isle in Adventureland). When you are in the MDE app there is an option for mobile ordering and from within that you see the restaurants available to you.

Do you see the full menu on the app?
Yes

Does it save much time?

That depends... We tended to see what we wanted to order while waiting in an attraction queue and then we would line it up in the app. When we arrived at the location we wpiod see how long the mobile order queue was and how long the standard queue was, most of the time it was quicker to continue with the mobile order, but there was the odd occasion where it was quicker to ditch the mobile order and just go to the walk up queue.

How does it work with the Dining plan?

You can choose to use your dining plan credits in the normal manner. If you don't want to use DP credits then you have to have a credit card on file in order to pay.

In terms of other hints and tips I would just say it's super useful for deciding what you want to eat while hanging out in queues so you waste less time trying to read menus at the food location.

Also I'd suggest doing the trick of checking standby versus mobile order queue before committing to mobile order!
