This looks a bit insane. £407 for a DODGE CHALLENGER OR SIMILAR | STANDARD CLASS with thrifty for 18 days, surely that couldnt be right? !

Much depends on dates. For our 21 days with MCO pickup it is £10 cheaper than Alamo Brits if you only need one driver, but we need two drivers and that adds another $315. Thank you for the link, we'll include it in our future searches.

Have you tried contacting Andy at DFCH? Whilst his website only offers a single driver or a gold package, if you email him he will do a personal quote for you to include a second driver and he came in way cheaper than anyone else for our 21 day rental in July

I just checked some car rentals for our 17 day trip in Sept this year. I normally book with BA - Int SUV Ford Escape, BA Budget (never used) £508, BA Avis £508, Auto Europe with Thrifty Rental with Zero Excess with Extended Cover including wheels, glass, underside and roof of vehicle £518.91. no additional driver but I don't need one.

Thinking I'll try Budget through BA.

Booked online on Sunday via the website and charged 5 times due to AE’s system error I have incurred £25 bank charge as the funds to pay other bills had been reserved as a result. Several calls and emails later the only offer I have had is £25 voucher off my next booking! Just thought I would share my experience.

Avis price for premium saloon - group G dropped by £100 today, now £3 lower than budget so I have just booked with them - through BA
