I don’t. I rarely take anything, I’ve got hand gel as I’ve seen the lack of hand washing by people in general lip balm and moisturiser as I get dry skin on the flight

I’ll take two spare dailies and my glasses . Thanks

I always pack my daily disposable lenses in my hand luggage. If my hold case goes missing I wouldn't be able to flippin' see for the whole holiday. I always pack essential things, medications etc. with my hand luggage. My mum had her medication in her hold luggage once - someone took an identical pink suitcase off the belt and didn't think to look at the tag - it was my mum's bag. So she was without her essential meds for a couple of days...

Depends where you are travelling to , for oz you would need wash stuff etc as it's a 23 hr journey , to majorca perhaps nothing , or if you e dine bag drop the night before . A lot travel with hand luggage only now hence why boots are promoting the click and collect so you don’t have to worry about any liquids at all and it’s free if you order is over £15 or £1.50 under .

The things I consider essential (specifically on a long haul flight) include contact lens stuff, lip balm and hand cream. If I am arriving at a time whereby I will have time to do things for the rest of the day, I also like to take my makeup so that I can do this on the plane before landing.

Hand luggage only is alien to me - couldn’t do it😁
I also take spare meds (all tablet form) and swimmers in my hand luggage in case bags go missing. I don’t use lip balm or hand gel so the only time I have anything to put in a bag is if I’ve forgotten to put the lipstick I normally carry in my Kipling multi into the suitcase before checkin.

Anything else I might need can be bought out there.
Interesting to hear what others take though

Contact lenses ( dailies )
Hand gel
Lip balm
Hand cream
Deodorant
Face spritzer

In my hand luggage I’ll have

On anything longer than 6 hours I take a full skincare and makeup routine, helps pass the time as well as looks after my skin!

I don't mind those that need to take plenty, what winds me up is the people that have no idea whatsoever of the rules !

I travel in UK suitable clothes, with a spare set of undies, Tshirt, and shorts in my bag. I figure that we could feasibly be diverted into Canada/Greenland and having warm clobber and enough spares to see me through that first 24 hours would be useful in the event of it happening. Once we get close to Florida, I change into my shorts at which point my jeans and hoody go in my carry on bag not to be seen until the trek home, when they tell me how much weight I've put on

Drinks would bother me more if they price gouged airside, but they aren't too bad
