For 7 nights in Ibiza with the girls I just take a carry on case. If hubby is coming I take a large case and a carry on. He likes to go out in the evenings. Its basics for the girly trips. Swimwear, a cover up, shorts, t shirts, a couple of pairs of white trousers and 3/4 tops, and a maxi dress. Two pairs of sandals and toiletries. That's it.

I’ve done 10 days with just hand luggage! I’m an expert packer!

same as you 1 hold and 4 hand. Hold has the liquids mainly plus our own snorkel equipment, clothes in hand.Depends on your luggage too, ours weighs less than a KG each so you can pack a bit more. If it wasnt for the liquids we might be able to fit in 4 hand luggage for a week.

We have a week in Lake Garda planned for the end of August.

I've booked 3 hold bags which I think is probably too much, but we're staying in a mobile home and have to take sheets and towels and we'll be travelling with a one and a half year old so we'll have enough stuff to drag around the airport with us without packing all our clothes in hand baggage.

Also some airlines don’t enforce the rules which results in people taking large suitcases on board.
We have always taken them in cabin bags ?.?

I use the straight traditional double edged blades that are definitely a no no. Had to compromise and get the disposable cartridge ones which are allowed.

We normally have two hold luggage between 5 of us (4 ads 1 Ch) One of the big things is beach towels. Take up a lot of space and necessary for where we stay. But probs only take one hand luggage case for a two week trip.

For 7 day trip 3 cabin roller bags and one hold bag. Again those pesky towels.

We have large microfibre towels. Lightweight but take up space.
