We got it last time we were there as recommended by someone on the Dibb but it wasn’t the same. It was awful and my son wouldn’t touch it but thank you. I may have to try it again if we can’t get our own stuff through.

Well we are on route to the airport with corned beef and potted beef packed tightly in our suitcase. We will declare it and see what happens. Fully expecting a very very long time spent in MCO trying to get through immigration and then having them pull out the contents of our case. The price we have to pay for the love of our children 😂

Libby’s tinned corned beef from sams cattle in Argentina, probably in the same factory as the U.K. sold products.
You can try the Libby’s tins if/when Customs take it off you

We are a country with BSE so I would expect them to say no for any meat.

The tinned Libby’s corned beef is the same as far as my taste buds were concerned. The products in the packets are like salt beef, I’ll give you that, but the tinned stuff is the same as ours having been produced in Argentina.

Well we are here and here’s an update on how we got on. We declared the food products at the immigration desk and we were then ushered off into a side room where I had to wait with the children and my husband had to go with another security officer to get our bags from the carousel. They scanned all our luggage and when they found the bag containing the food all the Crisps, bread, breakfast bars etc were all fine. The lady then went away with our beef spread and corned beef, tapped some stuff in a computer and said we were good to go with all the meat as it was processed meat all with a uk origin which does not currently have a risk of BSE etc. She did say however that if the country of origin had not been the uk it may have been a different matter. So woo hoo we are happy campers. All in all it added maybe 20 mins to the whole immigration process so for us I would do it again for my boy. Thanks everyone for all your reply’s
