Manatee swimming and airboat ride timings

Hi,

Does anyone know what time either of these activities start?

Im wondering if i can do them both on the same day.

im thinking early morning boat ride and then manatee swim in the afternoon?

Any ideas?

ATD do a package that includes both, plus a coach to and from crystal river from whichever big hotel is nearest to you. It also includes a breakfast, picnic lunch and a stop to look around Homosassa state park as well. We�ve done it twice and it was great. This year I drove there and we just did the swim, having done the rest a couple of times. It�s a good 3 1/2 to 4 hour round journey, and I did miss watching a film and dozing on the way back I must admit!

Edited to add: we booked our swim 10-12, as we needed to get back for our Star Wars Dessert party I�d previously booked! There was an 8-10 one before ours, then 12-2, 2-4. You could easily stop at an air boat place either way and fit both in, there�s a couple advertised along the interstate on the way 👍🏻 Hth

If you stay up by Crystal River the night before the manatee swims start really early - better chances of seeing them than later - not sure if there are afternoon tours
