POFQ Corner Room?
Just finalising everything for our upcoming holiday and see that I have the option of a corner room.
Can anyone tell me what these are like in terms of noise from people passing by outside? Are the stairs on the corners of the buildings or in the middle? Many thanks in advance. |

We have stayed in a corner room at FQ and at POR. Our room at POR had windows on both walls and appeared bigger and obviously was brighter. The stairs were not next to us in this room. At FQ the corner room only had one window and was close to the lifts and stairs. I did think it would be more noisy but I honestly don't remember it being a problem at all. It was actually great to have the lifts and stairs next to us! We were on the top floor so perhaps had less footfall, I would ask for a corner room again.

Our corner room at POFQ had two windows and was a few yards away from staircase but no noise issues at all

Hope you have a great holiday. FQ is fabulous... I wish I was going to have my lovely view of the river, beignets and all the other great food we had...in 3 days-enjoy!

Our room at POFQ last year was a corner - only one window and by the stairs but no noise at all, and we were staying at a busy part of the year. I will say though it was just 2x adults so we didn't have to consider children, but I did get afternoon naps in no problem

We had 2 windows at POFQ and loved the corner. It felt like a much brighter room.

We had a corner room last time we stayed at POFQ and it was much brighter. But no issues with noise and foot traffic etc
