Avis proffered trouble

We last used preferred in 2016, found an old email in which Avis had linked our BA car hire to the preferred. They say they’ve linked it for us again this time but I can’t remember if we should be printing anything?

If you supplied the preferred number when booking with BA you do not need to do anything and it should be ready for you (Provided the credit card on the preferred account is still valid, if not you will need to update it).
If you sign-on to your avis preferred account it should also show the BA booking.

I didn’t provide the number when I booked with BA. I contacted Avis after and they have told me on several occasions it’s linked but when I log in I don’t see anything...

i've also had that. AVIS saying it was linked, but i could not see it when I logged in.

When I arrived at the garage my name was on board and it was waiting so they were right.
