Another price question!
Hi All, looking for some help on my first post.
Apologies this question has already been asked numerous times but it’s my first time to Disney so just want to make sure I’m doing things right! 2 adults September 2020 Flying direct from Gatwick 10 nights in Coronado Springs with upgrading dining plan 4 nights at cabana bay Disney and universal tickets - total price £4999 Does this sound like a decent price for all of the above or could I get this cheaper? |

Good day and welcome to the DIBB,how many travel companies have you tried?as the total cost seems a little high, speak to a few others before deciding. There are basically hundreds of people with immense knowledge of getting flights, hotels etc.on this site.Hope you find what you're looking for.

As a rough comparison price it up yourself for the Disney/Universal pieces for this year to see how much the flights are.

If you go DIY you could save a lot. Flights for that time arent released yet, so your paying a premium for pre purchace.
As said your new, so maybe TA is good for you, but their is a wealth of knowledge on here if you want to go DIY and save.

Thanks for all your replies so far.
I am trying to price this up DIY just a bit wary of doing this for our first trip. The quote was from travel planners who have actually been the cheapest so far |

I don't think it's too bad. The fact that you have universal tickets included does help because they're not cheap!
I'm going to CS in just over a week and for the full 14 nights with just Disney tickets, upgraded dining plan and premium seats with TUI it was 5k. I know there's a difference in time of the year. |

Are you sure about Cabana Bay. If you go to one of the 3 deluxe resorts you will get express passes. Just asking as I have heard some TAs trying to sell the cheaper option and not saying you dont get the Express Pass.
DIY is easy if you split it up and work through them. Remember that going to a TA doesnt necessarily mean you will be dealing with someone that knows Orlando or the resorts. The basic elements: - Flights - Hotels - Airport transport (only Disney have free buses) - Tickets Last year we did 13 nights split between AKL Disney and RPR Universal for 2A, 1C. I calculated it cost just under £6000 for everything. Taxis, airport parking, all spending money and food, tickets, hotels, planes. Basically everything the holiday cost.

I did also get a quote for royal Pacific which I believe includes the express passes but they wanted an extra £185 pp so we decided to stick with cabana as we like the look of the resort.
Looking to price up myself and have found the following costs but some are based on September this year - Flights - am I looking around the £4/450 each for direct in September? 10 nights Coronado with Disney tickets - £2624 and then will need to add the upgraded dining 4 nights cabana bay - £435 on booking.com Universal tickets - £277 each on attraction tickets direct. Hmm .. lots to think about this evening! This booking malarkey is becoming a minefield 🙈 |

We stayed at Aventura without express passes end September last year & got on all the rides with their extra hour in the morning.
Upgrading dining is apparently £17 a day each so if you can find flights for £400, which isn't too hard in September your overall figure would be £4754. Your package doesn't seem that bad a price really. You could possibly find cheaper flights though. Also you might find Cabana Bay cheaper nearer the time.
