It might not be the height of luxury now but it's obviously stood the test of time and is still going strong 👍🏼

You should hopefully be okay if BA have said that. We booked a package with them to the Hilton Doubletree at SW three years ago and they covered the resort fees. Definitely worth checking though.

Yes, you can walk it's only half a mile and there is a pavement all the way.
