I’ve never managed to read anything on a holiday to Florida... we’re about to go to Kos next week and I’ll be taking 5!

Usually take about four and buy more from charity shops there, then leave them in the Laundry room of the hotel.

My kindle with at least 10 books in a "to read on holiday" collection.

Pre-kindle, I'd always read a chapter or two of any holiday books so I didn't waste any suitcase weight with a book I didn't like.

My local library has a free app called BorrowBox which is great to take. You can borrow and return and request/reserve bestsellers to read on holiday.

I much prefer books to a kindle etc . I love reading and am planning on taking 5 when we go to WDW in August as allegedly we are having more rest days this trip. I can easily get through a book and a half on the flight there and I read quite quick.

Just spent a week in Spain and read 9 but that was a fairly chilled week. I wake up really early and read for a couple of hours. For Fl I’ll take double but don’t expect to get through all of them x

I took 3 magazines and a book, think I read a magazine on each leg of the flight and half of the book whilst we were there. When we were back in the room resting or something I would just watch the TV or sit on the balcony.

I take 2 or 3 proper books plus a magazine. I found a Kindle tricky to read with the glare if I was outside. I know you can get better ones these days for glare, but I've a problem with my eyes so it's a no go. I also get charity shop books too as I can leave them for others to enjoy and create more space in my luggage for SHOPPING! 😁

It’s interesting. At home I read a book in 3-4 days. In December when we were there I didn’t even finish a chapter, every night I’d get my kindle out and have to reread the previous page and I’d be asleep by the time I’d finished doing that!
