Dining packages, worth doing?
Has anyone done either the Fantasmic package or Fantasy Parade package & if so found it worth it when it comes to the seating/viewing area?
We were already considering Tony’s & Mama Melrose or possibly still taking a chance on Hollywood & Vine, despite iffy reviews I’ve read on blogs, for one of the seasonal dinners.. so wondering if it’s worth adding on the shows. We will have a DAS pass which I know can be used for the shows but we’ve never used or found out if it can be used during parades & I’m not sure which would be better for us when it comes to seating/viewing area; the DAS or the dining package.

We did the Mama Melrose package last October - seating was in a really good area. Will probably do the VIP dessert package this year for a change.
If you are going to buy a meal anyway for that day the tickets are then an added bonus, if on a dining plan it will make a change. Seats were very good though. |

I’ve done both and they’re well worth it.
For Fantasmic we do Hollywood brown Derby as the food is awesome. Mama Melrose is good for 1 credit too. The viewing spot for the parade after Tony’s is amazing. We turned up at parade time itself, to be shown to a spot at the top of main street that was roped off. Handful of people in it. The meal itself was average, but if you’re careful with your food choices totally edible. 3 course meal too. Ill be doing both packages again this trip

We enjoyed the food at Tony's and the parade view is excellent. Not crowded and a great view as parade comes towards you. This is my review with photos. I've booked again for this year. Only downside is no shade.
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...orest&page= 9 We have done Mama melrose fantasmic package a few times and the food and fantasmic seating is good. For a change have booked H and V this time, halloween themed characters and buffet looks nice enough and will suit my fussy DD. |
