Mobile What to wear in August?

I know it'll be super hot in August but is that from the moment you get up? What do you wear to the parks that don't make you melt?

Yes it is super hot from the moment you get up.

You might need something for when you are in AC restaurants etc.

But i never once had more than shorts and t shirt on.

Are flip flops or wedge sandals suitable for rides or could they fly off?

Same... wear the Havianas flip flops with the back strap... they stay on for rides and are the best flip flops I’ve ever worn

I never wear shorts but lived in them when we went August 2017. We had breakfast at Crystal Palace though and it was so cold it ruined it for me. Definitely taking a cardi if we do that again 😊

I wear strappy summer dresses with flip flops.
Some restaurants do require a cardigan lol

I wear shorts, cami tops during the day. If going out usually change to more of an evening short or crop lengths (just below the knee)with a short sleeve or strappy top but I take either a cardi or scarf for the aircon. I have loads of scarves, they are much lighter weight for packing so I take a few well chosen ones to go with most things for the restaurants.

I don't find August "super hot" Hot but not super I think the med countries can be worse. They seem to be more of a dry heat whereas I actually prefer the humid Florida heat.

Linen trousers and either t shirt or strappy top. I suffer from golfers rash, it’s a combination of the heat and the walking doesn’t hurt just not nice just looks like I’ve been burned from the ankle upwards. It clears after a week.
