I'm 52 and was never vaccinated, my cousin born 3 years earlier was severely brain damaged through measles at 3 years old and died when he was 11. My eldest brother had mumps twice. My younger brother who was born 1975 was the only one of us to be offered vaccinations.
Having seen the effects of measles I made sure my children where vaccinated but unfortunately there is a generation now who do not understand the effects a 'simple' childhood disease can have ☹

I then had the TB jab done on top of it when I was a teenager. Born 1969 if that makes a difference.

You had a test and only some people went on to have another jab. I have no scar, not everyone got one.

For my age group the polio immunisation was on a sugar lump.

The TB one was a jab in the arm as was smallpox and whooping cough.

I am pre vaccination.

I had measles when I was 5. I was very very ill. I don't remember it but my mother certainly does! A friend had it in her teens, much worse. Didn't lose her life, but lost her hearing.

A horrible disease, and so preventable.

No I definitely had a needle for the polio immunization. My kids had the sugar lumps.

The round slightly indented scar on the upper arm is from the smallpox vaccine (discontinued in 1972 due to eradication of smallpox). It pretty much scarred everyone due to the injection technique used.

The TB one only scarred a few.

I was born in 1978 and clearly wasn’t immunised for measles or mumps as I’ve had them both as a child. I’ve had the Rubella vaccination though. Think I had that in school.
Both my boys are up to date with immunisations.

Everyone I know has the tb scar and we were all born after 1970. Mine was super infected so my scar is quite big.

I find it bizarre that my kids aren’t vaccinated against tb yet it’s on the rise yet again. Been quiet a few cases round here in recent years .
