We just put trainers in the washing machine. Never had any problems and they come out as new.

I use my normal non bio powder but after a particularly bad festival I bought Tesco sports wash and the killed the deadly smell

Mine has a drying rack but I wouldn’t put expensive trainers in just in case!

I put my trainers in last week. They were not really dirty, just grubby (they are all white). I put them on a gentle wash and didn't spin dry them. I put them outside to dry on a perfect day, not bright sunlight, but warm and a gentle breeze. They've come up a treat. They are now in my case ready to go.

Like most here we wash them in the washing machine. Not had any issues to date (yet!)

For the kids trainers just chuck in the washing machine in a pillow case. For my posh ones I use Crep which you can get from JD sports or online . I always then spray them with waterproof stuff.

I just put them in the washing machine with a couple of bath towels. I put them in the middle so the towels stop then banging off the sides
