Aquatica on a Saturday?

Going in May and the original plan was Aquatica on the Friday then going to Kennedy Space Centre on the Saturday. Thinking of switching as Kennedy will be a fuller, longer day and we will be switching hotels to Disney on the Sunday so thinking a water park day will be easier on us. Is it a no go on the weekend though? Park hours have changed today and Aquatica is open an hour earlier on the Saturday now.

We went on a Saturday in late June we got there just after opening (I ride) got a good speck in the shade. Had a great day did get busy later on but no problems. I would recommend that you do get shade as the sun is fierce in the water parks and wear a shirt also use plenty of high factor sun cream.

We went on a Sunday A five minute drive took 2 hours. The park was rammed. Went on a weekday. It was quiet.

Thanks for the replies. Actually just switched my Discovery Cove day to the Saturday before we head to Disney. Nice relaxing way to finish our 8 days around Universal/Seaworld area before Disney.
