Bus to MK

We want to get to MK for 8:00 opening on our first day we are using Disney busses for the first time what time do we need to get the bus from SSR.
Last minute planning now 😀

Id want to be on a bus by 7ish with a view to being at the park gates 30 minutes before it opens - this will put you at/near the front. Then proceed with all haste to Seven Dwarfs!

Just double check with reception/concierge at SSR as to what time the buses start.

MK now has a new opening procedure. They let people into the Main Street area of MK from about an hour before the official opening time. So if MK opens at 8am the CMs start letting people into the Main Street area of the park from 7am. During that time you can go in the shops (Disney wants you to spend more!).

Just before 8am they'll be a little opening ceremony on the stage in front of the castle and then people will be allowed into the rest of the park.

As above, unless you want to get to MK really early, I'd suggest getting a bus at 7am. You'll get to the park by about 7:30am. Then wander around Main Street for 20 minutes or so before catching the opening ceremony. And then proceed with all haste to Seven Dwarfs!

7am it is then. I'm used to having a car so this is all new to me.
