Parades, Fireworks and shows

There seems to be so many that people talk about but i know nothing! Can you give me a heads up about what's on at which park, what times and what are your must sees? We will be there end July/beginning of August and it's me, DH and DS age 10.

Fantasmic in Hollywood Studios is brilliant. I've checked for when we are going in July and its on at 9pm

Be advised the times for shows, like the park hours themselves are subject to change and may not be accurate / show up at all until quite close to your trip. I certainly don't know all of them as it's been 6 years since I last went, but I can personally recommend:

Night stuff
Hollywood Studios - Fantasmic - superb show for kids (and I suppose adults too!)
Epcot - IllumiNations - pretty show you can watch from almost anywhere
Magic Kingdom - Happily Ever After - this will be new by the time you go but it's the successor to an already excellent show

Day stuff
Magic Kingdom - Festival of Fantasy Parade
Animal Kingdom - Flights of Wonder
Hollywood Studios - Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

There are loads more shows than this, but I'd say this lot are all pretty much must dos.

Animal Kingdom is gaining a night show shortly in the form of 'Rivers of Light' which seems to generate contrasting opinions, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it
