Greece , where and why

Kefalonia is my favourite island. Going back for the 4th time this summer. It's small enough for you to see just about the whole island in a week. We're staying in Loudas as it has a lovely beach, plenty of traditional tavernas, and beautiful views 😍

Two teenagers, after listening to them bicker for a week in Parga last year I'm not so sure. I've done the Piraeus to Ancona ferry a couple of times but it was years ago and travelling in a lorry full of baby wipes 😁 I need to go and explore. I get the Sunday times travel magazine and it had a great article on Greek island hopping. Never had a bad holiday in Greece just love it. My Dads off to Lesvos for about the 10th time in may.

I have always wanted to go to Greece , it's on my list . I love Croatia my sister in law is from porec so we have visited the area a few times .

How about Syros. Part of the cyclades, not many other tourists go here. Its extremely well priced for meals etc but not a lot to do. It has a city which is nice for a walk and some stunning beaches. We have been 3 times, once without kids and then with them twice(7&5 last time) and they loved it too but both are definetly water babies. Can recommend a reasonable apartment too with lovely hosts.
You have to fly to athens then either get one of the two flights weekly or get a bus to Pireaus, spend the night (can recommend a hotel too) and then get the ferry. Its all a bit of an adventure. We like that there isnt many other tourists. All the residents cant do enough to help you
