I've always worn my swimming costume and then either a oversized t-shirt or a regular t-shirt and shorts over it to go in the water and then have a cover up to wander around in when I'm out of the water that was £8 from Primark Honestly though, I wouldn't worry, no one pays attention to what others look like as they're too busy enjoying themselves I will say on a separate note it may be worth you getting some aqua shoes as the floors in the waterparks can be very hot! Aquatica is nice as it has water spraying onto some of the paths too cool feet and wash off any sand

Maybe get a rash guard and some swim shorts?

They are made of swimming costume fabric and close-fitting - so they don't look like you're hiding out in a big kaftan (tempting...) but they hide any lumpy bits quite well. You also have to apply sunscreen less frequently.

I wear a top like this:

and shorts like this:

When I'm at the park with my son I don't want to worry about exposed bits - and I like that I can wear these up to the restaurants, shops, etc...

I get all my swimmy things from Amazon - the shorts are made by an English company called Bohn. Dozens of companies make the rashies - I like the ones by O'Neill and Cressi.

You will have a good time no matter what you wear - but I was surprised at how much fun I had at Typhoon Lagoon last year! I think feeling that little more "covered up" made me enjoy the day a lot more.

I too love my swim dresses, but I also wear a swimming costume with swim shorts over the top. I pop rash vests on my daughters over their costumes as they always seem to burn.

I have these, in a couple of different colours worn with either a bikini top or tankini depending on how chubby I'm feeling 😁

I wore a a rash vest and swim shorts last time, which kept me more covered then a swimsuit from the sun, plus also easier for toilet trips no having to strip off completely in the cubicle! We all wore rash vests to keep covered from the sun, plus water shoes on our feet as the paths etc are very hot to walk on!

Try the dove summer revive derma spa , it's really good but takes the edge off the whiteness. Make sure you exfoliate first though.
