Give me your Gatlinburg restaurant recommendations ...

... please !

We are aiming to avoid the chain restuarants on this half of the trip - we do love Perkins, Longhorns and the like but have those on our list for the last leg of the trip in Orlando

Looking for any top tips on Smoky Mountain eateries ... been trawling tripadvisor this morning but cant beat Dibb recommendations

Ta in advance

The Alamo Steak houseis good as well but I'm not sure if it's reopened yet as I think it suffered some damage in the wild fires

Am interested in this too, as we're staying for a week at the end of July. Will try and let you know what we find after we've been.

Cool, thanks . Will check out those other names.
So far I have Peddlers and the Crockett Breakfast Camp on my list ...
We may eat in the cabin a couple of nights I think.
I did look at the Shake and Dawg place as well for lunch.

Got to admit we didn't eat out much. The cabin was so gorgeous, it was fun to grab some tuna steaks, and corn on the cob do some jacket potatoes and sit back with a beer or two enjoying the view.

Thanks, yes I think we will eat in two nights and eat out the other two. Hubby fancies firing up the BBq and taking in the views .

I'm looking to have a list of breakfast and lunch places so if we fancy a stop somewhere we are not just wandering around ... We are terrible if we have to make a choice on the spot !
