Mobile Vdara or Mandalay Bay

Hi,

I've already made a booking for Mandalay Bay but after checking prices again, I can get the Vdara with fountain view for the same price?

I would love to hear your thoughts?

I would prefer Mandalay Bay the pool area there is fab . It is a lovely hotel we usually visit a couple of times each trip and if I were going in the summer months I'd stay there.

Vdara I know some will say is a better location and it is but I'm not a fan of the city centre hotels, they just aren't "Vegas" to me..

We stayed in the Vdara in a massive suite. Location is really good; you can cut through a back covered walkway which brings you straight into the Bellagio.

The location of M Bay is not as good. Everything else though, we preferred. The pool especially is really good, so if you're travelling with children, that would be a really good reason to choose M Bay.

Both lovely hotels and if my choice was purely based on the hotel itself I would choose Mandalay bay. However when we go to Vegas we don't have a car and therefore location is a very high priority for us. We love being centre strip and have stayed in Caesars palace and The Cosmopolitan in the past for this very reason, therefore for me taking everything into account it would be the vdara out of the two

Thank you so much for your replies.

I'm going to stick with Mandalay Bay for the time being. The distance / walking was fine with us when we booked it, so it would not be the end of the world if we could not find any bargains more central closer to the time.

You don't have to walk to far, there's a free tram from the Mandalay Bay to Luxor & Excalibur, so you could stay on it to Excalibur and come out on to the strip there.

Great, thank for letting me know. I need to do some research on Vegas so that I am prepared for it all
