Hi

I looked at the MGM but as far as i can see the "suite" is a Studio type I would like a suite with a separate bedroom with a door, so my Daughter can sleep while we watch tv etc...

They have junior suites (just one room and bathroom)and 1 bedroom suites (separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms). At the Elara they have the same.

If your not bothered about being on the strip then there are loads of options like Tahiti Village..Grand View etc. Grand View is really nice its next to where we stop has 4 or 5 pools and a kids pool .

But I do think for a first visit you can't beat being on the strip...We always have a car and I always take the kids their 8th time next month so we don't do casinos but they still love being on the strip and we spend a lot of time there
Thanks for the reply.

Can you tell me what benefit being right on the strip would be? We don't like walking about in crowds (well I dont - Autistic ) I have planned the following for Vegas:

5 Nights

Day 1 - Check In Day - Mince about in hotel and get some supplies - Maybe take in a short notice show Or Movie at cinema (Beauty and the Beast will be out when we go)

Day 2 - AM - Spare - PM Visit Valley Of Fire and have a picnic and watch sunset - PM Chill at hotel

Day 3 - AM Unknown - PM -Stratosphere Rides then MJ Show Stratosphere.

Day 4 - AM Visit Hoover Dam, PM Visit Tussaud's

Day 5 - Checkout Drive About looking at stuff! - Then onto Grand Canyon for 2 days.

Its pretty structured as I need to know whats next, I can do ad hoc but need a bit of warning!

You mentioned the Hilton Grand Vacations on the Las Vegas Strip is a bit grim. is that purely due to the remoteness or the Neighbourhood?

TIA

Yes the area is grim very little down that part it's the worst part of the actual strip and a long walk if you wanted to walk anywhere

There's so much to see and so on the strip though , things like the bellagio fountains , conservatory , Mirage volcano , the hotels themselves , tonnes of things to do
But of course it does depend on what you like to do .

I've only ever stayed in a 1 bed apartment at the Signature, so they definitely have them

It's undergoing a massive renovation which won't be finished till late 2018 .

Currently it has no pool ( you have to use the MGM pools ) and many of the restaurants and shops are closed . I don't know if they have started the room renovations yet but every room will be done .
It's being split into two hotels the Park MGM and the NoMad .

I've never stayed there personally, but I do know those that have are very happy with it. The price point can be a bit restrictive and the pool area is in direct view of people staying at the signature, lol. But a good price is hard to come by, so I'd take it, if it was affordable
