Transfers fromGrand Floridian to Universal?

Hi

We are stating at the Grand Flo in September and we are looking to go to Universal Studios a couple of times, and we are not hiring a car.

What would be the most cost effective way to do this for the two of us as a round trip - would it still be Mears?

I think uber would probably be your best bet

Can I use Uber in USA from a UK mobile. I did it once in NY and as it used WiFi to track my journey it didn't work well, as because as soon as I left my hotel there, it lost connection and he couldn't work out my fare at my desitnation.

Is this the same in Florida, or is it just a pre agreed price and no Wi-Fi or journey tracking needed? Sorry, have only used Uber once, and not again after the NY issues!
