What to do on our first day
As we enter the final stages of planning our first time to Disney world we are a bit stuck on what to do on our first day, our first full day will be morning EMH at Magic Kingdom. Do we head straight to Magic kingdom take advantage of the rides having less of a wait time during EMH and book a mid morning at BOG or head over to Epcot... I love planning

We're doing MK, an 8am reservation at CRT (hopefully), then leave mid afternoon and head back to the resort for a relaxing evening with movies under the stars.
if it was an EMH day like you, I'd do just as you've done, eat something before you go (as you'll be up early) get to the park early then late breakfast/early lunch in the park.

You will wake up early so EMH at MK is a great plan. Get in, get busy and book a character lunch at Crystal Palace for 12 ish. FPP between 1-2, another 2-3, parade at 3pm by which time you'll be knackered a ready for the pool. Anyway. This is always my first day plan! Works for me every year.

We are doing MK, got a breakfast reservation for Be Our Guest, then we will do some rides and then probably head back to the hotel for an early evening!

We had an early morning CP breakfast (8.05am) and stayed in MK till about 3/4, headed back to CBR and then went to dinner at Disney Springs. After that we headed back to CBR and the kids went to the pool. There's no way we could have done a full park day on the first day, we were shattered!

We done MK on our first day last year, we were up from crazy o'clock anyway so it should be dead easy to get there for park opening. We had an early breakfast at Crystal Palace then managed to stay until the parade at 3pm, but by then my boys were flagging so we left the park after the parade had finished.

We do AK as we often tire mid afternoon and AK is not a full day park for us.
