Where are you staying in the Algarve we were looking for a short break away but have no idea where to start.

Well ! We had booked on vale do lobo BUT we booked through a known website accepted the price, paid in full ( via cc) to be told by owner incorrect price and they want over double more. Back to the drawing board but on 12 hr shift so will resume looking ( and getting money back ) later.

Oh ,no. I know how you feel been looking at places to go for a short break. OH keeps changing his mind to location, I have said he needs to decide as sick of looking.

That's a shame , we have been twice to carvoeiro in the Algarve , my teens preferred it to orlando little town with a small beach but we really liked it. We stayed just out of town at Rocha Brava resort but taxi into town was only 10 euros there and back.

WE are now pencilled in for a villa in Vale do Lobo. The teens like the look of this area and they'll have far more things to do and freedom than other holidays. The drawback was no old town to walk around in an evening BUT I thought if we plan to do that we can always head out in the evening instead ( I am not a big drinker so never mind driving and they'll be evenings when I can so it doesn't bother me). I like the sound of the Praca area there and the restaurants on the beach which will be walking distance from this villa.
