Cheap Vegas hotel - which would you choose?

Hi

Five nights, £250 budget max.

Harrah's, Bally's, Monte Carlo or Linq?

I just want an acceptable room - location is more important (probably won't have a car). We know the Vegas area reasonably well, last went in 2013 and have previously stayed at Signature, Venetian, M Bay, Vdara. I'm well aware my choices this time are not in line with those, unless I get a Hotwire bargain like last time

I can get all of the above for under £250. Which would you choose and why?

Thanks
Karen

The Orleans
Off Strip but with a short and very frequent free shuttle to the Linq.
Great casino, really nice pool and masses of food options for much less than the Strip. Rooms are huge with separate sitting area and a bathroom window that opens.

From your list Harrahs but would prefer the Flamingo .

Thank you it's always great to get an extra idea I'd not considered. I had discounted HRH, Orleans and one other for not being on the Strip but I will think again.

I realise how ridiculous this will sound but it's for DDs 18th birthday so we won't be going into casinos except to walk through. So the casino isn't a draw for me (yes I know how bizarre that sounds )

I didn't get a good vibe from the Flamingo when we went there - was I unlucky?

They are still a bit flexible, but it will be Sunday to Fri in August - at the moment 13th - 18th was looking likely

I'd thought Mandalay would be too pricey but I will go and check that one direct right now - we really liked it there

Would agree with the LinQ too , clean , modern and very helpful staff . We were given a room overlooking Harrah's Carnaval Court ... loud rock music till 3am , they gave us another room at 1am in the morning when we coudn't stand the noise any longer !

I like loud rock but NOT when I'm trying to sleep One to avoid, then!

Langside, M Bay is very expensive in August right now - though it might be too soon for the prices to have hit a sweet spot!
