Buying a SIM card for unlocked phone.

DS and I both have unlocked phones. We could do with a SIM card for using our phones when out and about. Mainly for google maps directions on our road trip. Would it be best to buy one in Vegas before we set off, and what network. We're travelling to the Grand Canyon village, Lake Powell the Zion. I know we may not get a signal in some more remote areas .

I would buy the 3 sim here before you go . You need the £20 one which gives unlimited calls , texts and 12gb data .

The kids had one each last year and it worked fine in Nevada, Arizona and California, they got decent 3G coverage most of the time .

I went and bought there's from a 3 shop popped them into there phones the day before we went and they worked fine . Think the top up lasts 30 days. Will be getting more for this year .

I need to go get the kids sim cards at the weekend.. Its worth the money to stop them moaning on road trips

I think i'm actually organised for once.. Just have to get dollars and I'm done.. Its most unlike me.
