Wales - change of plan!

We are looking to book a night away in April (me & DH), probably in Wales. We want a nice hotel where we can have a meal & also explore the area a bit. Last time we went to Llangollen which was lovely, but want to try somewhere different.

Any suggestions?

I love camping! Only been once in April though & it was freezing at night, don't think I could convince hubby till it's a bit warmer!

The Metropole in Llandrindod Wells is lovely - was there last year with 100 other women bikers for our annual weekend! And the girls raved about the Spa and on the Saturday some of the girls went to Aberwystwyth

Love all of North Wales, but particularly the area around Llandudno, Snowdon and Conwy. Amazing coastline, harbour, mountains and castles..

South Wales, second Tenby, The Gower has some amazingly stunning beaches and the area around St. Davids is nice too.

Cardiff is also a great city break. Good shopping, Cardiff Bay AND Dr Who

The Celtic Manor isn't far from Cardiff and on the M4. literally fit for Presidents (Obama stayed there). Not cheap, but looks amazing.
